I'm planning to buy a new video card so if you know which is better among these I'd appreciate it (all are on the same price range):1. ASUS Radeon EAX1600PRO 512MB DDR22. ZOGIS GeForce 8500GT, 256MB DDR2 DirectX10 compatible3. Gygabyte GeForce 7600 GS - 256 Mb DDR2ThanksGeForce 8500GT vs. Radeon EAX1600PRO vs. 7600 GS

Well I'm not pretty sure to stay in DX9, maybe I should go for Dx10 right now, but I'm not sure if 8500GT will be enough for future games. Maybe I should get the 7600 now and save for a better DX10 in a year or two. Thanks

I wouldn't get any of those, try gettng a 8600GT.
mmmmm that's the problem, my options are reduced here in Mexico, I'm building my PC with few options, if you had those options which would you choose? thanks
if those 3 were my only options, i'd go with the 7600 GT
Out of those three..8500GT > 7600GS >>>>>>>> X1600Pro
Thanks to all. One last question: 8500GT is Vista AND XP compatible or only vista?
Read my sig my fav quote is 8500GT = Noob bait cause look its DX10 and is 8000 series! YEA! NO its horrid Out of those get the 7600GS atleast I know its good.
The 8500GT works fine in both Vista and XP.[QUOTE=''LouieV13'']Read my sig my fav quote is 8500GT = Noob bait cause look its DX10 and is 8000 series! YEA! i agree with louie, get the 7600 for now and save up for a better card, if u can spend a little more though i reccomend the 8600gt which is what i have,i play oblivion highest settings with hdr enabled at 40fps, if not higher. hdr is a fps eater so disable it the game will look good without it. good luck
Wait a bit and try and see how the HD2600XT turns out. It should be cheap around 100-150 dollars and more powerful than an 8600GT.

Its the same really ive seen some benchies.
Oh god no. My 7600GT can outperform the HD2600XT in many cases.
The HD2600XT is terrible. There's absolutely no reason to get it over the 8600GTS or GT whatsoever.
Its not even out yet tho... the drivers suck like the HD2900XT's did now look at it.
Well we'll see. There was that article about the 1024meg version of the 2900XT Crossfire that killed the 8800GTX SLI, but it was on vista.
What about 8500 GT 512 MB versus 7600 GS 256 MB?
