should i exchange bfg8800gtoc for pny 9600gt?????

my bfg8800gtoc, the first editon i just bought for $149 last week at best buy.it runs idle at 56-58degrees.i was plying fear at 1440x900 my mxs resolution by the way and the temps were like at 78.after only 15 minutes.the only diff between the two crads are the shaders right 112vs64. and the 9600gt is on sale at best buy $144 so i can do an even trade.i dont have any intake fans in my case its a dell531.so im wondering if i should excahnge since theres only about 10fps diff between the 2.any and all replies plz.should i exchange bfg8800gtoc for pny 9600gt?????

Don't do it!!! I have the EXACT same card (bought it from bestbuy too :P) and it's perfect. It will be MUCH better than the 9600 GT.

Alright hold on. I'm installing Rivatuner. I will edit this when I get temps.EDIT: Sorry buddy. Couldn't get RivaTuner to tell me my temp. If you know another way, I won't wind checking to see what my idles are. While I was searching online, I found that there are just some cards that run just fine at 70c. I don't think its going to be a big problem. Just don't get the 9600gt!!

ok problem solved, got my pci slot fan from new egg and played cod4 didnt go about 66-68 degrees and after i played im not idle at 50 steady for alon g time now while surfing and what not.so im loking at about 6-8 degree drop in gpu temp with the fan. im impressed
ok i go to take a shower and come back in and now its 49-48 trying to drop more.ive had the 8800gt for 10 days now and this is lowest ive seen the temps. for people who say the pci slot fans do no good.ha! it works wonders for me. keeping the 8800gt for sure now
