i uninstalled it anfd mnow i can reinstalle it, is it bad to run my computer without it?
Why in the love of anything would you want to remove the .Net Framework?I would put all versions of the .Net framework back on your machine as soon as possible and NOT do it manually.Download it from MS site and have it do the install. yes, I am surprised your computer is even running now.Is is bad to have no .net framwork?
yes Is is bad
yes very very bad.
Microsoft.net framework comes with any PC that you buy. It isn't all that important that the PC won't run without it. if you have no .NET framework on it, well, I would have to say, that you are severly limited to applications, such as paint, and the internet and some other minor programs. I recently updated to .NET framwork 3.0 and I haven't seen anything new with it yet, but .NET framework helps greatly with performance. Say like, if you have a regular mother board, without any onboard video, you will be using the PC's ''default VGA save video generator'' which only gives video that is strong enough to just display a webpage. With .NET framework, you can have better performance, and actually use 3D applications, even without any onboard video but the VGA save video generator. However, Microsoft reccommends that you have ATLEAST Microsoft.NET framework v1.0; because then your computer may run like it is 30 years old and has had no updates or part replacement.DO NOT, under any circumstance, install .NET framework yourself. it must be installed by microsoft update or windows update, which ever has it, because it is to complicated to be installed manually. It's basically what makes the OS run smoothly. And because it helps the OS run smoothly, it contains ALOT of files, that should NOT EVER be tampered with. one error in the program may cause it to run very bad and there is also a possibility that you may need to get it repaired.Thats probably some of what .NET framework does, I'm not sure, but be sure that you have Microsoft.NET framework because if you don't, you may have a very poor performing PC. And nobody likes a poor running PC.I reccommend having atleast v1.0 or better.
Several applications depend on .net framework. I would reinstall right away.
yeah it's bad. microsoft and other softwares depends on the .NET framework.
Nah, the only thing i ever needed it for was Paint.NET and the ATI CCC. I use Nvidia now and there is the gimp or gimpshop.
