Nvidia 8600GTS help please

My 8600GTS is running at 50 degrees at the min, Ntune used to let me change the fan speed but when i try to use it the errors on me :( tried new drivers/installing it again..didnt work) Id like to up the fan speed so it runs a little cooler,, any ideas how?Nvidia 8600GTS help please
And you are worried because 50C seems to high? My 8800GTXs idle at about 60-65C, go up to 80-85C under load. The 8XXX series of cards had double the transistors of the 7XXX series, and runs hotter than those. 50C doesnt sound bad at all.Nvidia 8600GTS help please

my 2900xt is on 47 during normal use but whean i play lost planet it goes to 69 max dam 8800 gtx runs hotter then 2900xt
I really dont see why your worried, those are good temps. Im gettin 40-48C on my 8800GTS. Only cause of watta coolin though :P.
thats a great temp, come back when its at 70C ; )
umm in the mournings when i first turn my computer on im idle a 42 then towards the end fo the day im idle at 52C.
theres some trick about putting cardboard triangle on the GFX so that all the heat leaves the case (although I don't think this is a great idea because there is that fire risk).
Use ''ASUS SmartDoctor''

[/QUOTE] well im running dual 8800gt in sli, and it is usually high 40's to high 50's and under severe load at low 60's celsius.
