Which memory?

OKay I want to know the difference between a 4Gb(2x2), and a 4Gb(4x1) memory? Which is better for games? Which memory?
2x2GB is better because it's two memory modules running in dual channel1x4GB is just a single memory module and no dual channelWhich memory?
1x4GB is just a single memory module and no dual channel
no, im pretty sure he was talking about 4x1gig so it would be 4 one gigabyte sticks.
For Ocing two sticks, if you don't care then it doesn't matter.
I surely will not OC as I dont know how do to that. If someone can a guide or something, I would really appreciate it. When I said 4x1 I meant 4Gb(4x1Gb) as thats what it says. When I said 2x2, I meant 2x2Gb(Either way its the same)
I'd buy the 4x1 for the sole reason of freeing up slots. In the future, you can add more without replacing it if needed. (I have no idea what the price differences are though. That too may be a factor?)

Well I'd say you are better off with just getting the 2x2. that way you will still have another two slots free in the future if you ever need more ram. also ive heard that some motherboards dont like to have all their slots filled.
I'd go with 2x2 if you haven't bought them yet.
