I'm not sure what hardware should i go for basically CPU,GPU,Motherboard, ram and hard drive but not an OC user. Its mostly be play on 1280*1080 and the desktop would be around 1,800. Giv me recommantation on price over performance hardware and performance hardware thx in advance and any early reply would be useful.Need help for a desktop getting end of this year
I would have no problem naming off parts for you but since you don't know about the hardware to begin with I would suggest getting something pre-built or custom built and have it shipped to you. If you have an idea about what you want to do/run/play and or if you want high end or low end stuff that would really help out others if they decide to post guilds for you.Need help for a desktop getting end of this year
Basically people would recommend core 2 duo past 6 months and Nvidia GPU but i would like to know which brand should i go for as i have not follow up for past 2 months. I heard about amd 3 cores,2cores and 4cores which would be on same level with intel's CPU in performance.
Actually i would like to consider myself a very avid AMD fan, but unfortunatley AMD hasn't come out with anything that can out perform an INTEL of the same type for quite a while now :(. As for the Nvidia GPU it's pretty much prefrence between ATI and Nvidia right now. If you want Nvidia i would suggest and EVGA GTX280 and if you want ATI I would go with a Diamond or Saphire HD4870.
If i were not to overclock it would 4870 still be better compare to nvidia GT280? And should i go for which motherboard and hard disk?
Currently i though of going for E8500,2GB of RAM

It seems that you really not good with hardware so its either you are ready to read some newbies guides and so to gain enough experience or you get pre-built one.. I dont mean Dell, HP or any because of their overpriced products..
The place i recommend to check is avadirect.com They have very good customer services and their prices are somehow reasonable to pre-built setups.
Or you could order from me and I can build it and ship it. In any case, I've listed a few products for you and from what you've said it sounds like you do know what you're doing, you've just been out of the ''game'' for a little while is all.
'Thx alot guys i'll do more research and will post once i decided what hardware i'm going to get.
