new mobo emergency!!

Alright yesterday I picked up a new mobo and case both store tested and check out. Then I spent about 5 hours putting it together with ram, video card, and processor from my old computer. Trust me I knew what I was doing :p and all the parts are compatible with each other and everything worked fine in previous system. It's a nice expensive Asus mobo, gtx260 nvidia card, Intel E6750 dual core, 2 gigs of crashtested and sturdy RAM at ddr2, 750 watt PSU, decent hard drive, and a run of the mill dvd/rw drive. That all I put in and then hooked it all up and hooked up case functions to mobo.Problem: after dealing with all the beep code errors and now getting no beeps at all, ALL THE PARTS except perhaps video card are hooked up perfectly and run when i start up. THE MONITOR remains black, no matter in what order i power up my system. Vid card doesn't spin, but it is connected because there is no beeping to signify a hardware malfunction or disconnect.ram - checks outmobo - tested, finehd, dvd/rw, psu - work finevideo card and cpu - only remaining possible problem areas in case there are no problematic connections and the mobo is indeed okay. Now I know that no response on screen is usually a vid card error but everything is inderted tight and all parts are used and functional. What can you guys tell me? Help me troubleshoot plz!One more thing, the system powers off by itself after running like this for about 2 mins, no changes on monitor. Hope that helps. And once again, I know all my parts are compatible! ^_^
