Not that i know of. Although there probably is a way to remove the operating systems
like i have a vista home premium system builders pack and im guessing if i ever build a new computer i can use that again? i hope cause that would reduce the price if i ever want to build again.

You should always have one from you previous computer.
And the problem then becomes if you're dealing with someone who has an ''OEM'' copy that comes from a prebuilt computer, which is metaphysically tied to the BIOS it was installed on.
Even back in the day with stuff that didn't have activation schemes, there were versions of Windows that were ''keyed'' to only work on a BIOS/motherboard from a specific manufacturer, like Gateway or Dell, etc. They simply would not install on a system that was not built by them.
Hence why I include the cost when I recommend something, and why those that don't are (IMO) total **** to not even consider the possibility. Especially nowadays with hacktivation and then the constant reactivations with Vista to stay ''gin-u-wine''. It's not worth the aggravation anymore to deal with that.
I always suggest a copy of Windows for builds that I list. You can't re-use a Windows license if you have a prebuilt. Well, you're not supposed to re-use it even if you bought it, but you get the idea.
well then what if you uninstall the previous one then can you put it on a new build?
and if you dont have a prebuilt like those that come in a little case for system builders then can you reuse the license?
each computer needs to have their own license. u can only install windows on one machine. if u want to install to another machine, ur gon have to remove windows from the old one and install it on the new one. basically u r just transfering the license to a new machine which is okas for prebuilit system (Dell, HP, Gateway, etc...) the license is tied to that computer and cannot be transfered or reused.

You should always have one from you previous computer.
and you can reuse the windows vista or any other one multiple times?
yeah, just can't run in on multiple systems at the same time
people still buy windows?
Or you can always call them and tell them that your computer crashed....it works.
I had to re-activate Vista for changing the damn RAM! I called and they just ask that its installed on one PC... As long as you take it off your old PC and its not running on the old PC, you should be able to move it even if its an OEM edition, unless its something like being tied to a certain BIOS/hardware.
When I changed my motherboard, my Vista booted up instantly. I didnt have to call Microsoft or anything. It's OEM btw.If you want Windows that can be re-used over and over, you're going to have to buy the retail version.
You can re-use OEM lots of times... Just don't over do it. I've had the same XP since it launched around 2001, it still works.
You can re-use it, even at the same time on multiple computers, whos' gonna ask you?
If you install it on two computers at the same time... I think it will eventually be tagged as non-genuine. Unless you don't use the internet.
