AMD Phenom: Is the stock fan good enough?...

...or should i start looking at other cooling solutions? my rig is gonna end up having two front mounted intake fans, a top mounted exhaust fan, a rear mounted exhaust, and an intake vent directly over the cpu. Here's a link to my case and it has all the specs right there. So should i keep looking for cpu fans or just go with the stock fan. On another note, does the cpu and fan come with thermal paste or the preapplied crap on the heat sink?AMD Phenom: Is the stock fan good enough?...
in all honesty u should have enough cooling for your cpu with the fans your installing also wuts the mm range of fans that your installing are they 80mm or 120 i will also provide u a link from newegg with a cood heatsink for your cpu and also wut amd cpu are u installing on your mobo because i have a black edition amd 9950 phenom quad core with the unlcoked multiplyers good for oc'ing if your evere thinking to do so but besides that heres your link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118019 its a good heat sink for your cpu my friend just ordered and recived it and he sais i works great im ordering mine today along with a 120mm fan for my cool master elite caseAMD Phenom: Is the stock fan good enough?...
All of them are gonna be 80mm, and i also have the 9950 black edition. my video card is arriving today and thats the last piece (except for some molex to sata and molex to pcie adapters) that i need to start assembly. i still have a few weeks before i actually start assembling the rig. just wanted to make sure that the stock fan is good enough to deal with the 1337-ness of the processor. as for my other question, did the stock fan have thermal sticky junk on it or am i gonna need some thermal grease/paste. trying to find a site today to get all the misc. crap. im trying to minimalize excessive s%26h costs. thanks for the info and any future responses. Edit: about the fan you linked for me, im trying to take advantage of the intake vent over the cpu, so i will probably need a fan that sits parallel to the motherboard, not perpendicular like that fan. it looks like a bad-a$$ fan though. if this project goes well then i am building a comp for a friend of mine, i will show him that and see if he likes itYet another edit: found out the answer to my question about the thermal grease on the stock fan... it does come with preapplied grease, but i will probably get another tube of it for when its time to reapply. thanks again for the info, saved me about $50
all in al u should be good to go as for the heat sink ill measage u soon with a link un could also look on new egg for a heatsink to your liking and they alos have good prices and just to be safe get your self a tube of themal paste mine didnt come with any so i brought it added it and put my heatsink on :)
