I have a Dell Dimension C521, the slim one. It only has a 280W power supply, which can't be upgraded. I want to be able to play decent games and with my limited options I've decided to go with the GeForce 8600 GT low profile on newegg. In the user reviews there, some said they used this card in the C521 but their computers ran around 70C-80C, with one user saying it reached 117 C. My question is, would a good fan get rid of this problem enough that it wouldn't harm my computer? If so, could you recommend me one the would fit in my computer. Thanks in advance for any help.Help with overheating
Just add a case fan, to the back of the case. Just to move the hot air (created by the 8600) out of the case.Help with overheating
I have an 8600GT and with only one fan on the rear of my case the card goes at 60 celsius on load which i think it's pretty good considering i have a generic case with no ventilation. Also in the manual that cames with the card says that the PSU must have at least 350W of power, so i don't know how yours is going to work with it.

I've also read various other places that dell underrates their power supplies.
