can anyone help me pleaseThe day I make history....(First Comp to Build)
My suggestion is to use NCIX.com(biggest canadian computer part site) rather then canadacomputers. They have better specials and if u buy some items u can get free shipping for your entire order. also with NCIX.com u are able to have them build your pc for u for 50$ and they will make sure everything works before u recieve it and install the latest drivers and even give u a 3dmark scorewith your budget (2500) u really could build a great pc, my general suggestion is get a 4700x2 for the video card, the fastest coredou intel u can afford(take the faster dualcore proc over a slower quad - if your primarly gonna be used for games) and 4 gigs of ram(ddr2 with low latency) with 64bit vista
Okay here is a list from Canada computersCase Antec 900 $99.99Case Fan $11.99CPU E8500 $209.99HDD 500GB $87.99Monitor BenQ(S-IPS) $351.99Memory Patriot 2x2GB $110.99Motherboard Gigabyte EP45 $152.99PSU Corsair 750 W $124.99GPU ATI 4870 X2 $584.99Blu-ray reader $138.99Subtotal $1864.9Total $2,125.98I put in a blu-ray reader/dvd writer because seeing as you have a 1080P capable monitor you mgiht as well get a blu-ray reaer to watch HD movies on your computer. You also have a little bit of extra cash to buy speakers, keyboard, mouse etc. Oh and tax was calculated with 14% assuming you live in ontario, happy building.

If you live in the GTA area in Ontario, you can also look at Infonecs. They have the same parts, but are cheaper for things like harddrives, memory, and other things
Hi Film has put together some very good parts for you. That computer will run games very well. Good luck putting the computer together. Once you get the hang of it you will want to build another one. :D

There are a couple things missing however such as the OS, speakers, mouse, keyboard. And also consider getting more RAM (double to 8GB) as Vista does take up quite a bit.PS: the tax is 13% in Ontario so the Total would be $2107.34 CDN :D
Since you are going to spend THAT much on your computer then if I were you I would wait until the Intel X58 motherboard and Intel Nahalem CPU comes out, it will be much much more futureproof and is worth the wait and price.

4 gigs is enough, vista uses around 500mb for itself.
