I'm sure you guys get asked this alot, but this is my first time trying to build a PC. It will be mostly for gaming only and will be hooked up to a 1080p dlp hdtv and also to a 7.1 surround system. The total cost is just under $1300 I wanted to stay around a $1000 but the couple hundred extra seemed like a good deal for the faster ram, good sound card (i hope), quad processor, and 4870 card. The main reason I am getting the case I am is because I save about $70 when doing a combo with the CPU. Anyone see anything wrong here or compatibility issues? Decent Build. I would rather get a cheaper video card, and use that money to get a better processor, I tested a Q6600 on an Abit P35 motherboard and I didn't really like it, but it does have alot of room for overclocking. I would get a better motherboard too, ASUS P5Q is 25 dollars more, has P45 chipset, and good overclockin optionals.Building my first PC any suggestions?
