Stress Testing

I set my e8500 to 3.8ghz and my load temps are 58-61C for my hottest core. Voltage is on auto for now, I'll be lowering after Prime95 crashes. What happens if Prime95 doesn't crash?! I can still lower my Vcore right? Its set to 1.224V for 400 x 9.5, according to CPU-Z.

Do I really have to test Prime95 with auto Vcore?!?! can't I just start at a lower Vcore and start testing prime95? Is as thinking of settings it to 1.2 to start. How exactly does the PC tell you that you need more voltage?Stress Testing
If the PC refuses to boot after monkeying with the voltages - then you know you most likely need to up or lower them. If it crashes during a stress test (I prefer Orthos for cpu stresses) then you most likely need to revert the changes and try again.
