the thing is if i dont take it theyll probably sell it with the hd so i wont be able to
As long as threre not gonna charge you for it, id take it and use it til you build a new one.
well they are gonna discuss it but im thinkin theyll charge me about 200 aussie
Buy a new larger and better hdd now, partition it so you have a space to put an OS, then put all your stuff onto the other partition. Then when you can get your new pc, you'll be set and have everything you wanted to keep. I'd only keep the current pc if your parents give it to you for very cheap, cause at the minimum it needs a new gfx card to play recent games decently, and another power supply could be needed also. More memory would be good as well.

Well if you're satisfied with it and your parents are giving you a good deal on it, by all means take it. If it weren't for games, I'd still be using the pc I built in 2003, or maybe even the one before that.

[/QUOTE] it has vista on it, should i stick with it or install xp in a dual boot? but yeah its a bit slow at times so i may upgrade to core duo if i can but ive tried some games on it and they work fine. there is only ONE game so far that i will upgrade to big big big big big hell for and that is duke nukem forever and that has no chance of coming out in the near future lol so i guess im sticking with not upgrading
