IDE Hard Drive?

I Can Only get An IDE Hard Drive But SHould Any IDE Hard Drive Work With My Computer Or Are They All Different?IDE Hard Drive?
Most likely, it'll have to be really really really old not too.IDE Hard Drive?
Well My Computer Is Very Odd. But The IDE Port Works...
Whats The Difference Between IDE And PATA?
Same thing
Same Thing? Whats Up With That? That Could Be Very Confusing!
IDE/ATA is the same thing. The first ATA drives had a parallel interface. When the serial ATA interface (SATA) came out, the older parallel was referred to as PATA to help minimize confusion.Edit: To clarify, IDE refers to the the hard disk controller electronics are on the disc. ATA (PATA) and Serial ATA (SATA) is basically the way your motherboard talks to your disc.
